miker2ka
Got a 3570k here. I run it 24/7 @ 4.5 with 1.12 v. For hwbot submissions i set it @ 5.0 with 1.32v. PC is cooled with a custom waterloop from ek (360 total rad). What would be a max safe voltage to push it even higher considering that i also use this pc for work and i can't afford to fry it atm
Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 30, 2017 Crew Share Posted January 30, 2017 Short sessions is no problem at 1.45-1.5Vcore. If your cooling can handle it of course. Though at a certain moment the voltage MHz scaling will stop and more Vcore might lead to more instability
miker2ka
And for Kaby Lake? same 1.45-1.5 for short sessions?

PKBO
Should be ok under water. Iam pushing 1,6V for short tests. But its risky here.
