Linuxfan Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 UD9 quad SLI has bad performance compared to Classi or R3E? Why? Awesome work Patch, 4 pots and got em all running good! Quote
Patch Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Thanks guys. You make me feel better Smoke I thought it was just me fighting this board for scores. Also got diminishing returns with higher clocks - a run at 1200/1175 gave me worse score... Quote
Massman Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 UD9 quad SLI has bad performance compared to Classi or R3E? Why?Awesome work Patch, 4 pots and got em all running good! Not sure about classi, but R3E is definitly faster. Perhaps due to the NF200 lane configuration or BIOS? Quote
Patch Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 (edited) Thanks Dukey, Kal, Pizza and miahallen. Not sure about classi, but R3E is definitly faster. Perhaps due to the NF200 lane configuration or BIOS? Voting for lane config or somesuch. Tried many BIOS on this UD9 and never get very efficient scores. But I am too low on the ASUS totem pole to get an R3E expander (have tried), so have to set World Records with other boards until they decide to sell them retail. Massman Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Hehe. Had a discussion about that with ASUS. According to them, the Expander -is- retail . Anyway, check PM. Quote
