Because 5.5ghz with 1.47 and CoreTemp showing 65c is pretty peculiar Not to ruin your thread mate, but I have a better one, which goes up to 85c running CBR15 with 5.5/5.3 1.44V with 2 X EX420 XSPC rads and a Swiftech MCP35X2 pump in my room with 19-20c. And yes, it is delidded and treated with Grizzly Condactonaut. I advise specifying cooling conditions, so the other members have a TRUE picture of what the cpu can do and HOW. Fasttrack Posted December 25, 2017 Share Posted December 25, 2017 Yes, this IS a golden CPU, although I suspect that Nik's ambient temperature during testing is pretty LOW And yes, there are some very exclusive processors, owned by some very few lucky individuals. But, this 1% or less of such extremely rare processors would not cost 750 Euros, but rather 1200++, especially if they scale very well under LN2. Personally, if I did not own a slightly better one, I would buy it with closed eyes. And NO, I have no relation or friendship with the seller.
