TheQuentincc Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Hi, I want a price check about my ddr3 stick, the reference is F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD and I used them in this submission with air cooling, i don't know if this is a standard overclocking capability of that stick : https://hwbot.org/submission/3610502_thequentincc_superpi___32m_core_i7_3770k_6min_38sec_875ms I can push them more like 2420~2430 with the same timings with 1.88V (maybe less I don't remember) reported on the motherboard monitoring (not checked with a voltmeter), there is elpida "640" in it (E904A8BR9403), I can't push more the frequency even in cas 8 or 9, maybe processor or maybe motherboard fault, I don't know. I just want a price check, no more, thanks for all;)
yosarianilives Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Probably the IMC. I'd say you can probably get $20/stick on the high end.
Noxinite Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 They'll be BBSE ICs most likely. See here for details on how they can OC: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?285767-DDR3-IC-thread Maybe $50 tops if no other OC results?
yosarianilives Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Naw, those timings look similar to how my psc clocked. If OP wants to be sure he can look at the serial number. The first 3-4 digits will be a year and production week. After that the next 4 digits will be IC. 1040 is psc, 0640/0660/0680 is elpida and could be bbse based on clocks.
TheQuentincc Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 I already said, maybe in a little bit confusing way that these sticks are Elpida "640" and the reference writen on the chip is E904A8BR9403 with a "B" at the 7th place which means BBSE
