Wanted 7640x, mighty run for CBR15 5.5 on 1.36v or less ambient. 

 

Unless that's a typo and you mean 4,5Ghz that is 100% impossible

They exist I guess, but aren't common, doubt those who have one want to sell theirs.

You absolutely right. But i think to next order: as golden (2-3% binning) CPU can run 5.5 for 1.376V, platinum (more rare, less then <1%) could be even for less voltage, example 1.36V.

That 7640x is the lowest I've seen

7640X Boxed.

Batch L705B916, pretty similar to the one from aerotracks ( L705B890).

Can do CB @ 1.168V 5GHz on air. This CPU is not delidded yet.

Has never seen cold. I have no proper board for X299 LN2, Rampage VI Apex is way too expensive.

200€ + shipping...

Result this CPU on 5.5 CBR15? 

I have air-cooling only, will try to push a little further in the next days. I doubt i can get 5.5GHz with this guy non delidded and a megahalems...

My current I5-7640X does on ambient water 5.6ghz core / 5.1ghz mesh with 1.4V on Apex VI, LLC 6 even XTU.

Can do easily 5.7 / 5.2 for SPI32m, PI fast ( all light 2D benchmarks ) and all 3D legacy with 1.42V

It is the best of the best I5-7640X ever recorded. Waiting to put it on SS and see what it does.

Now I'm testing a 7640X, 4,8/4,2 cbr15 v core 1,15v at ambient, looks good because under cold it does 5,8/5,4 1,44v Am3 not delidded

Thank you, but need more info. Cold - what is - SS or chiller? Interested both chips results on ALO and water ambient on CBR15.

I think is not good because need to do 5Ghz CB15 with 1.15V to be good

don't mind...chip dead on X299...bios P1.60 + Formula Drive 166, applying voltage -> 00
