You absolutely right. But i think to next order: as golden (2-3% binning) CPU can run 5.5 for 1.376V, platinum (more rare, less then <1%) could be even for less voltage, example 1.36V. Can do CB @ 1.168V 5GHz on air. This CPU is not delidded yet. Has never seen cold. I have no proper board for X299 LN2, Rampage VI Apex is way too expensive. 200€ + shipping... Can do easily 5.7 / 5.2 for SPI32m, PI fast ( all light 2D benchmarks ) and all 3D legacy with 1.42V It is the best of the best I5-7640X ever recorded. Waiting to put it on SS and see what it does.
