cbjaust Posted June 10, 2019 Share Posted June 10, 2019 On both the Windows 7 and Windows 10 I'm using for Challenger Round 2 Stage VI (AMD CPU+GPU) and Stage III (6-cores only) the latest SystemInfo 5.18.705 crashes out on GPU detection. The previous one, 5.17 is fine. This is on 1090T and every graphics card I've used (HD 3870 X2. HD 7970, R9 280X, RX Vega 56). As an aside, my 2¢ is SystemInfo should be pretty recent (especially if it is bugged like I found) and also in the case of 3DMark it should be the most up to date one at the time of the start of the comp or newer if it has been updated in the meantime. For the wrong background at least macsbeach98 used one which was in circulation more or less concurrently as the Cheapaz Chips one so it sort of serves the intended purpose of the rule but not to the letter. Leeg is trying to salvage things, I just did a simple if not valid no good, a lot of people took valid just to mean not lod etc. I hadn't noticed the system info issues as I assumed 3dmark valid required latest system info again my bad. If we want to follow the rules as written that's fine, just mean a lot more removed scores I believe, which seems a shame for a fun comp. This was meant to be a fun comp, and so there can be flexibility, trying to give those who entered some voice, being rude isn't going to help anyone.
