Hi, this is the first time there. Starting with that I have a Pc build with:

I5 6400, Rx480 4gb, 12gb ram, Z170 Asrock Fatal1ty K4, Silentstorm Icewind 630w, SSD and HDD. I have a custom BIOS to overclock my i5 6400 to 4.3ghz using BCLK.

I want to get an i5 9600k (and overclock it), I already know riskes of vrm etc..but I really want to get a 9th intel working on my z170. I saw a video thst shows how to do phisically, but i am confused, do i have to solder pins and other? How I make a custom bios to avoid cores limits of z170 and other? Please help me, really appreciate.

Is this guide working?

Or this better?

And is updating bios to latest version and get a i7 7700k better than i5 9600k? Sorry for bad english..
