ATI main card with Nvidia PPU?

Featured Replies

I've seen this question asked around a number of forums, and I couldn't find anything here. Is it within HWBot's rules to use an ATI card as the main card, with an Nvidia card as a dedicated PPU using the Nvidia PPU drivers? If so, under what conditions?

This is just a request for a clarification on the hwbot rules.

Thanks.

EDIT: And as a specific request for a forum member, if a person is using a 200 series Nvidia card and uses a 8 series Nvidia card as a dedicated PPU, is that within hwbot's rules?
