Bios 1.06 is more efficient for benching than bios 1.07. Evidence:

Bios 1.07

I would recommend only using 1.07 for 2x16 right now. 1.08 modded is coming soon, need to do testing first.

Will 1.08 still coming?
Or are you not using your dark anymore?

This BIOS mod is from EVGA and it has memory PPD option exposed. I believe it is based on v1.09. It should work on Z490 Dark KPE or standard version. I have used it on both.

What do you mean by it's from EVGA? You mean by someone from the forum? EVGA has exposed PPD in their official 1.10 BIOS. And did you by any chance compared it with the ones that Sparky posted?

Sorry, I did not see your message before. It was from EVGA directly, before they released v1.10 BIOS with PPD exposed. EVGA is one of those rare (almost non-existent) companies that actually listen to their customers and care what they want. At the time I posted this I was unaware they they released v1.10 BIOS with PPD exposed. They had me test and confirm the mod they provided (posted here) worked correctly and that was before there was a v1.10 BIOS.

Mr. Scott, do you want uCode, or removed uCode? Z490 Dark XP bios.

For Z590 Dark, afaik 1.06 works fine in XP.

Hello Everyone,

I know that I am late to this party. But can anyone give me the the XP compatible BIOS for the Z490 Dark Kingpin.

That would be realy nice.

Hopefully, I'll update this further after I have a board again, but that may not be for a while.

This Tool is for what?
