Linux Subsystem For Windows allowed?

Featured Replies

So usually these linux topic don't end well, but is the Linux subsystem for windows allowed in cases like Geekbench?

I can use CPU-Z and everything but the benchmark itself technically runs on linux, and the performance is slightly better.

Sadly no, we like to keep it comparable, switching to another operating system would mess up the entire database for some benchmarks.

ok, makes sense

Linux OS gives me half the results on benchmarks like aquamark in comparison to XP. Rise Of Legends is almost unplayable in Linux on Intel core 2 duo 8300 with 8600GT, even the mouse lags not to mention the headache to configure Linux wine libraries and playonlinux package. Then I was try to install Nouveau drivers, which maybe give better results, but they need a libc version which isn't supported on my debian clone Linux OS. Forced install that libc version end up with Q4os unable to boot.
