June 9, 20214 yr OK.I have tried to enter twice and have been denied. Apparently the very same software that is required by you to make sure no one is cheating, (what I've learned in the years here is most are far more concerned with calling people cheats than anything else).you don't trust when it says that I'm only using 6 TRUE cores. The rule said "Use 6 processor core(s) in total." If you shut off 4 cores in bios and shut off hyperthreading, which is doubling your core count virtually, then you are only using 6 cores. I suppose choking half the life out of your Core I 9 10900K is cheating , but throwing a $4000 video card at it is not. I just wanted to make the point that by all technical definition's, so far as I understand them, 6 cores is 6 cores and for this benchmark run, My 10900K was strictly a 6 core CPU restricted to 4800Mhz. If I were going to waste my time "CHEATING", I'd be at a casino. It don't matter, my machine is not performing well anyhow.
June 9, 20214 yr The higher end CPUs like 10900k has a better memory overclocking capability compared to a 10600K. it also has a different level of cache. So HWbot follows the actual cores as per CPU design (without hyper threading considered) that is also how cpus would be compared in any review by just about any magazine. The rules makes perfect sense and have done so for years. Why not just start following the same. We all have to?. If you note yes on some we cant beat the guys with RTX3090 however even those guys in some of the stages use an older GTX 1080ti to get the highest scores.
June 10, 20214 yr Having problems submitting Wild Life results. After submitting I receive the error "Entity to Large". Any idea's?
June 10, 20214 yr Author MATSGLOBETROTTER, How was I not following the rules, thats my point. 4 cores were disabled, hyper threading was disabled, and my Max clock/cache speed was below 4805Mhz and monitored by HWinfo32/64. The rules did not say I had to use a core I5.
June 10, 20214 yr Author Samual, only thing I might think was maybe a picture/ screen shot format. Sorry I'm not helpful, good luck tho
June 10, 20214 yr I'll make it easier. Quote For Competitions it is only allowed to enable or unlock processor cores. Disabling cores is not allowed.

Cores are cores, threads are threads and as per challenge rules you can only use the 10900k in the challenge DIV I round 2 not in the other divisions. June 13, 20214 yr Author MATSGLOBETROTTER, lol your score smokes my best score with my CPU running all in. Nice score.
