Socket 775 4-4.5Ghz limited SuperPi32m - timeless classics ?

Ok, but what about DDR2 this time?

Okay my comments so far:

AMD CPU

the two ddr4 AMD stages have "SGR memory only" in the rules, think it's supposed to be ddr4

cpus profile max ddr3 amd: team cup  ctrl+C, ctrl+v ?

love pcm10 per generation and all out fx cpuz freq stages

INTEL CPU

xtu 2.0: will start dates prevent alder being used?

gb5 single: just run 4 rocket lake cpus, or if alder is allowed then alder. not sure if that's an issue or not

refclock by chipset: ddr4 only but it's just z170, z270, z370, z390, etc which doesn't give a lot of variety. Which isn't necessarily a problem

MEMORY

pyprime and pifast are just all rocketlate or alder

3dm physics is 7700k, 7740x, 6700k as intel is just better at that bench but I see no issues .

The clock limits make it really about mem so I think these stages are gonna be fun for people who like tweaking mem

GPU

3m01 will be a fun struggle, although I have my suspicions about how the rankings will shake out LOL

Vantage (no gddr6/x): Will titans be allowed? Otherwise I like the limitation of no gddr6/x, lowers reliance on EXPENSIVE cards

superposition: love that it's not just about 30 series

IGPU

nightraid: Do the mobile XE graphics get to play in this one? If so lineup is 11900k, and two laptops. All pending alder admittance of course

Ok so the third time in three years it's absolutely mandatory to have Kaby-X on x299 to compete in a comp BCLK stage? ? This is like making a 33.3 yard dash on one leg and parrot on your shoulder the biggest event in the olympics...

That's what team cup is for, cc is supposed to be mainly newer stuff

Not neccessarily, it's really about what everyone want to run and enjoy as it is with TC.

I'd like to see a mix of both myself.
As for AM3+, I'll just say it - I'd love to have a Super PI stage for that and that seems to have been popular in the past anyway, lots of participation whenever it was done.
The same for FM2 would be great as well or perhaps AM4/ Athlon only setups, no Ryzens allowed would be a great one to try too.... Or perhaps Ryzen 3 chips only?

CPU Frequency is another apporach and not a bad idea.
Maybe Some WPrime love for FM2?
Socket 1155?

Lots of good stuff that can be done if you really think about it.

Whatever.... I'll be waiting to see what happens.

Sorry, but TC was a little on the newer side this year. :P

Would really like OSIBS to return, but I understand why. Same half a dozen guys are the only players.

I mean as long as one of those 6 want to do the organization and mostly run it I don't see why a group of friends can't compete with each other
