Feedback thread on UL Benchmark's Storage Benchmark

I just ran the latest Storage Benchmark from Ul benchmarks and found the information displayed a bit scarce versus other outputs of the 3DMark series.

Take eg no temperature output of the tested Storage device ( this could be an ideal indication if throttling occured and/or beter cooling is required

No detailed overview of the storage performance on any the 7 test runs, this could also show if any cache or other software is installed to boost the score.

on the first day i trayed it.
but no go.
need more free space. 37 gig free of 700 gig is to low ( daily game rig )
and also complaining about only a two core cpu , when its pure storage way minimum 4 core cpu?

No pun intended David, but if the benchmark executes multiple tasks at the same time and your CPU can't do these,  I guess the storage is not the limiting factor but your CPU might be.

I know when the cpu can't handle the workload , that it while be the limited factor

And found that : you need at least 30 GB of free space
whit 40 gig of free space i did managed to make a run :)

edit : way to slow for 3x samsung 970 evo plus in  raid-0 whit the dimm.2 and a asus hyper m.2 card

Nice , seems good to me :) , just need to gather and harvest more results and watch out for the outliers out of place high scores using ram cache and third party software like primo cache , etc...

It would be a nice addition to hwbot as storage benchmarks are scarce.

Who's got a collection of p5800x's? Only about $3500 for the highest performance one :P

A few of us have the P5800X but we are getting error 21, waiting on patch (tomorrow)

What config are you running it?

Yes

Anything NVMe Gen 4 will reach up to 5K, most will be mid 4K

Optane 900P Gen 3 will hit 6K

Optane P5800X will hit 9K

Latency is weighed heavily.  No weight on max sequential speed.

I posted a few different drives and only one drive shows up.
