overclocked up to 4000mhz all ok, but at 4100 and 4200 freezes when entering the bios, it turns out only 1 out of 5 or so enter, at the same time in windows runs without problems, and the test TestMem5 does not freezes

what could be the problem?

What memory are you using and bios? For DR b die 901 is best for me and newer bios have issues past 4000 with booting consistently

1304

4x8 SR Micron E-Die

Nothing wrong with it. More work on settings gains seconds

what is the optimum voltage for SA and VDDQ?

at 4000 mgz, 4x8 SR

am now stable on SA 1.30 and VDDQ 1.26

but board automatically sets SA 1.35 and VDDQ 1.20

I would like to ask you all
Is 8 cores and 8 threads good for super pi execution?
Or is it correct to use 4 cores and 4 threads or core selection as before?
Do I need more than 1.4V when running at 5.7 or 5.8g?
I'd like to get a DDR4 to finish the job.

Run 2-3 p cores. Turn off e cores

tCWL 9.
The others are 12.
If I raise the sa voltage, will it pass at 11?

not saying what you are trying to do. bench?

of course sa needs to be much higher 1:1 not so much 1:2

if water then vddq is not a thing to set of worry about

Thats very good result for the mem clk, you need more memory clock to do it better i think. Try to run at 4000 c12 or more. You need high sa like 1.35v-1.45v, and more vddq, maybe 1.35-1.55v is fine for benching. I did 4080 c13 with asus prime is all hot ambient air in Indonesia ;)

Thanks for the advice.
That's over 4000.
vddq is 1.55.
SA is, umm, tough.
I was thinking 4000+ after OS boot with BCLK adjustment.
I'm already feeling less motivated with DDR4.
This motherboard has a limit on the supply voltage to the DRAM, right?

No expectations, etc.?
By the way, the BIOS Beta 1301 that you have listed in your Z690 Bios and Tools freezes while loading.

Oh I'll rewrite the bios next sunday ?

Unable to configure high clock settings for Geekbench 5
Why can't it turn over 4000?
BIOS:1001
DRAM: GALAX HOF OC Lab Master (DDR4-4000 CL19 8GB x 2)
I guess I need A2.

これは4000c14で、同じことがmem周波数を3800に設定し、球場にあるタイミングと電圧で動作を開始します。

I have introduced your settings.
Very helpful!
I was able to activate the 4000, but not the 4133.
Is it still the BIOS?
DRAM is GALAX HOF OC Lab Master (DDR4-4000 CL19 8GB x 2)

If you are not on 901 then I would guess so.

I have not tested SR for a while but I when I did 901 and 707 were best for me on SR.

707 needs sa/vddq set manually and slightly higher where 901 can use lower sa/vddq last I tested.

Both I could do 4266 1t gear 1 easy with SR b die. I didnt try higher.

Unfortunately, BIOS 901 did not work.
