Unfortunately, BIOS 901 did not work.

Then I would try 707, 812 and 808 also worked good for me on SR.

If they dont work it could be an issue of the memory and z690. I know someone else who has a Galax HOF 5000c19 memory kit and he can not get it to work well on Strix d4 or MSI Z60 d4. I think he struggles past 4000.

Thanks for the valuable information.
I'm considering buying one set of DDR4.
Do you have any recommendations?

Do you want SR or DR?

I have only bought DR in the last year or so and have bought most of the top bin b die and I think for the money the 4000c16-16-16 kit is a really good kit. OC really well. But any of them are lotto/luck.

If money is no object the 4000c14 kit in SR and DR is tops and for SR 4800c17 kit is good but pricey.

Also it could be your IMC. Not sayin getting different memory will let you run 4266.

To be honest, I don't think I can afford to pay too much for DDR4 now, though.
But I'm not convinced this is the way to go.

Latest but unfortunatly will never be best Platform for DDR4 OC.
Even my 6600K and M9A can do it better.

Cant be wrong owning a good A0/A1 and a A2 Kit.
I dont have A2 for comparing.

Unstable operation of TurboCore V in both Windows 7 and 10.
BCLK is displayed as 100.25
BCLK adjustment is not reflected
Are there other tools available?

You should ask before you buy. How could someone help you now? Send it back and order a other Kit.
And before you ask, which one to buy... make a list with available Kits you can afford. ;)

No returns

CPU startup is abnormal if the BIOS is changed frequently
The frequency remains at the upper limit even when the OS power setting is set to balanced
How do I reset to initial?
Current BIOS is 0707.
The inability to adjust DRAM well may be a BIOS anomaly.

I've tried everything and can't set the DRAM above 4000!

set it to 1:2 (Gear 2)

Edit :
Added Subtiming for Hynix DJR can be as starting point

1304 it is not good for DR memory oc. 901 can do approx 133mhz more with DR b die. But if using 901 with KS e core locked at 3400.

Same cpus will do 4266 on 901 can barely do 4133 on 1304 and that is setting rtls manually.

SR is fine on 1304. So kind of a backward step with DR and KS in Strix d4 right now on 1304.
