Strix d4 bios 1404

4266c16 DR b die

901 is still better for me as I can run 4266c15-16-16

But with KS this is the best bios so far for DR b die.

CPU at Asus defaults for this run.

Any SR info with 1404 ?

On SR 4000cl14 b-die A2 pcb I can't even get as much as you on DR.
Tested with bios 003, 901, 1303, 1304.
vddq 1.5-1.55v sa 1.45v
I can't get more than 4000 MHz on two sticks.
If I set the dram voltage to 1.8v, then it turns out to take 4100 cl 14. Or with one bar on slot B2 4133cl 15 to 1.8v at a memory temperature of about 16 degrees.
Still earned 3800 cl 12 at 1.8v and 4000 cl 13 at 1.7v.

901 est toujours mieux pour moi car je peux exécuter 4266c15-16-16

Mais avec KS, c'est le meilleur bios à ce jour pour DR b die.

CPU aux valeurs par défaut d'Asus pour cette exécution.

Here is the cmo. cpu is at default. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Alekwwtstb8wlOJOPvNz6ssFJv7XqQ?e=Avf6LJ

I usually set static vcore and p,e and cache for daily. Unless you have really good sticks you will probably need to bump dram to 1.563 or higher to run 4266 or lower ram clock to 4133c15-15-15.

Edit I noticed I had tras set to 16 in that cmo. It will probably be easier to boot and get stable at 30 to 36.

Yes 4133c15-15-15. for me at 1.564 with my Galax Oc Lab DR, but i just bought a KS and i will try it soon with the CPU Contact Frame by Thermal Grizzly, I hope to have a good imc on this cpu, i really want to run a profile like yours.

Thank's

amazing mobo when you get the hang of it.

1504 is great with dual rank 1.75vDimm 1.45vSA 1.55vDDQ

Be sure to enable round trip latency in the mem algorithm page, it fixed my rtl at higher clocks from 71/79 to 71/71.

14/13/13/36/2t/12/374/0/6/4/7/3/8/23/13 65535/6/7/4/7/7/12/12/12/12/24/20/7/7/7/4/9/9 71/71 worked well for me in pi at 43-4350mhz 4400mhz would train but not end the OS unfortunately. Tightening tras and trfc was worse here.

Could not agree more, probably going to go down as one of the last great DDR4 mobo's.

UEFI navigation still trips me up and I wish the thirds would follow an order I'm more used to (Asrtc) but other than that smooth experience and thanks for the awesome bios support @shamino and @safedisk.

Posting in case anyone else runs into this issue on Strix d4 with 13th gen.

I had 12900ks installed flashed from 1601 to 2103 and it was like I had a really bad IMC gear 1 after installing 13900k, it would not be stable for memtest or y cruncher. Current ME firmware(1917) was installed before installing 13900k

So I flashed back to bios 2004 and then to 2103 and now it is stable in gear 1 4300 with DR b die.

Just wanted to let anyone know if having issues on Strix d4 try that.

Edit used Ezflash for flashing for info

I ended up testing more and what a difference manually setting tCWL(lower than tCL) makes . Still need to test more but went from difficult to excellent memory OC experience with 13th gen. I was use to leaving tCWL on auto when OCing mem on 12th gen.

4300c15-15-15 1.35sa/vddq.

CPU at Asus default for voltages and clocks.
