I don’t know what exactly you do differently. I can boot with 12900k and 13900k (es) without any problems and also enable CSM to boot into XP. Everything still works like it should.

if you can’t see bios with GPU in first slot, put the card in the second slot, create your profile and restart. Power off system put GPU in the first slot and start system

Thank you for double checking, the confusing part for me was that during the boot process it would stop at AE and blackscreen for a long time, not used to not seeing the splash screen for XP. On X4C the same thing happens but at least it doesn't blackscreen for quite as long.

AVX512 is also possible with 12th gen CPU's

@BOBKOC

It`s not possible to implement AVX512 in F21 bios, I can also replace microcodes but AVX512 menu isn`t available in F21 so it can`t be selected.

x6h bios uploaded

1. if I do not enter the bios at the first start after firmware = I will hang on the 99 code=AORUS boot screen

2. if I go into the bios and without changing anything, I click save and exit = I will hang on the 99 code=AORUS boot screen

3. if I go into the bios at the first start after firmware and turn off the E core ---> then everything becomes OK

4.  Load Optimized Defaults or CMOS_SW =99 code =AORUS boot screen   like https://community.hwbot.org/topic/210084-gigabyte-z690-tachyon/page/16/#comment-631759

Do you have another GPU ala gt710 or GTX980ti? all screenshots are done with installed 980ti with and without CSM mode.
As soon you have removed all SSD‘s/M2/USB devices, system boot automatically in bios and don’t hangs on Postcode 99.

if everything start like it should without boot devices, you know the problem. If not, please try another GPU, maybe your GPU/GPU-Bios is the problem.

you know the problem

I have found for me&12700KF, the problem of all Xbios after X3K - E-core on.

therefore, I have disabled the e-cores in the bios for firmware
and have no problems with the 1start after Q-flash plus & other options, Load Optimized Defaults or CMOS_SW.

in addition, F21=no memory errors, X6h =memory errors?, all things being equal.

Legacy acts strange now.

Gave the csm bios a go but not as good as X4b .

Mems are affected with legacy OS for some reason....7200 max with Win7 .....7800 no problems with win 10.

I‘ve tested xp and win 8.1 for 3d, no problem with Mem. Win XP with a-die 8k on Mem without any problems

Several of us on another forum struggling with 7800+ on tachyon with a die.Ram is either gskill 8000,7800 and 7600.Lets get a fix?.

Without Serg I’d be lost and on a “community” motherboard.

i think gigabyte has better support for these gskill sticks than msi (z690) does.
