My 661 hates SPi as well. Runs wPrime 32M and PiFast at 200MHz higher than 1M.

    Most / nearly all retail Gulftowns had this issue where they'd fail SuperPI 1M at 500 MHz below 3D stable clocks on LN2. This is also why the A0 chips hold all top spots in SuperPI, despite not being best for outright clocks.

    I assume sweet spot is different for every CPU?
