Quick explanations for anyone that would like to attempt the mod.

The memory pwm controller is located on the top right of the board and is a TPS543B20 (datasheet attached)

The pin we are looking for is Pin #1 (RSP), its stock resistance to GND should be around 3kΩ. You need to solder a variable resistor between this pin and GND. This resistor nearby is connected to Pin #1 and that's where I soldered my wire.

From this to GND through a potentiometer, pretty simple (I used 100kΩ that's all I had). I'd recommend adding a switch in line with it to easily disable the mod but didn't do it myself.
