( Intel side yes , AMD side I don't know )But I'd like to hear your opinions on efficiency and performance cores ( Intel E and P / AMD c and C ).Intel has had this for a few generations and has a dedicated category for it.Meanwhile, AMD has also started using C and c cores in the same cpu.But so far, there's no category for that.Who else thinks AMD deserves the same treatment?and secont thinh :Who else thinks that any CPU with "Pro" in the name is a server CPU?Just to be clear, I'm not talking about Threadripper Pro.server cpu's are : xeon , opteron , epyc , ampere ( altra , ampereOne )Sorry, Alrbecht. July 22, 2025Jul 22 Crew There's a reason we only applied this to Intel K SKU CPUs only or HX Intel CPUs and not to every version out there to keep some legacy records on the leaderboard and to avoid weird hybrid combos turning hwbot upside down...I assume the latter is what you want for a new AMD to crush them single, triple core records?If the community wants this, gather your troops and let hem be heard
July 22, 2025Jul 22 Author Reason like Intel's ex-monopoly , The K and HK CPUs needed space so they could dominate almost everything? 😅😅 Yeah, I've never been a fan of the split-core category.Anyway, if Intel is allowed to disable two-thirds of its CPU and compete in the 4, 6, or 8-core category,Then as far as I'm concerned, AMD can try to break the single-, dual-, and triple-core world record's.

July 27, 2025Jul 27 Crew For me, it's very simple:Intel E and P = AMD c and C.IncorrectExtract from a review: Both AMD core types are built using the Zen 4 architecture, and they both run the same instructions and IPC—which is the biggest difference compared to what Intel is doing with their P-Cores and E-Cores. The AMD Zen 4 and Zen 4C run at different clocks and voltages and therefore the Zen4C feature lower voltage tolerances.So they are basicly the same cores, why make a distinction David, it is not the same as Intel where two different types of cores are being used.
