DRAM voltage 1.9V set, SoC 1.15V. Experimented with up to 2V set but became more and more unstable.

It has, tried 0.92V VTT, made it less stable... Did not tinker with it any more. But likely the instability was due too low RFC (100ns). After raising it, stability was way better. Maybe now higher VDIMM & appropriate VTT might give some timings another boost.
