December 25, 2025Dec 25 I've been on the ASUS Republic of Gamers team for most of my HWBot life (I've moonlighted a few times but I always find my way back). We have a large team roster but there is a core group of us that have been submitting results consistently for double digit years. Recently, I introduced a friend of mine to overclocking and suggested he join the same team I belonged to. It's now been six months since he applied and is still sitting in the moderation queue. First thing I did was try and reach out to the team captains. Neither have been active for a long time but never so long that people couldn't get on the team. That seems to have changed. I navigated the Asus corporate site seeing if I could find the right method to contact them but obviously I have no idea what their real names are and so that led nowhere. Then I reached out to Silent_Scone who is the moderator for the Asus RoG forums (I've attached two images of that correspondence):I suggested that maybe he should become captain but he said he was way to busy for that. It's been a couple of months and have not heard anything. Most likely, both captains no longer work at Asus and therefore the credentials used to run the team are not available to anyone at the corporate office. My question is - what is the path forward? Can myself or an active team member possibly take on the role of captain?Hoping we can find a way to keep our team growing and interactive.Marco Edited December 25, 2025Dec 25 by marco.is.not.80 removed double image.
December 25, 2025Dec 25 Author Yes, as far as I know AkaNe and Raja are the only two people that can accept applications. But as I've said neither of them have been active for a long time.

December 29, 2025Dec 29 Author Thanks, Leeg - If someone from Asus wants to take it back I'll make sure I pass it over to them.
