Good morning everyone. Maxon just released today 12-29-2025 the brand new cinebench 2026 benchmark. I would like to request to add it for global points since the cinebench R20 is very ancient for global points nowadays. Thank you. @Leeghoofd

I think we need to be sure it works everywhere before awarding global points. And that it is not a +1h slideshow on old hardware

8700g / b850 / 32 GB on W10 not starting. Only expo settings active.

9800x3d / 870e / 32 GB on W11 ok.

Ryzen 7 9700X (stock+EXPO) windows 10 also not starting, its loading and after is it crashing.

after re install of w10 it works now whit the 8700g

Just tried the Cinebench 2026, it takes really long time to finish on CPUs.
I was thinking this is like a GPU workload on a CPU :/

*the Cinebench 2026 GPU compute bench is quite decent load, but not sure if non-CUDA (Intel/AMD) GPU runs that as good as CUDA GPUs.

I have no problem with W10. Actually I get better scores with it.

The day after my original post, I installed a new w10 on a optane drive and it worked. I also reported this here.
But the other drive whit the old w10 still not working. loading 2026 and than crach to desktop after 100% aplication initialisation

I have the same issue. Unfortunately, it is my 24/7 working PC, so I wont reinstal my OS :-)

Yes, I think the boss ( wife ) will not be happy if all the company ( famely ) data is gone from the PC. 😅
