We have probably all seen the large boost Windows 7 gives in 3DMark 03. For a while, I was under the impression submissions in '03 with windows 7 werent allowed.

 

 

Has that changed?

 

an 8800GT would gain a good 7K....every leaderboard will be drastically changed.

    i ran win 7.

     

    2x 4870x2 160k in win7 driver 9.4

    2x 4870x2 158k in vista32 driver 9.5

     

    it looks like a normal os/ driver boost / difference. But the 8800gt Case is interesting :o

    hwbot does not prevent the use of different OS versions...aside from the non-Windows OS. Bench away.
