Â X79/SBE is quad-channel 1600 supported, SB is dual-channel 1333. I got 2133 to work in quad with a set of GSkills. Just as I finish writing about the board on the 30 BIOS. Lovely.  2133Mhz at cold start, always corrupted...and moreover need higher Vdimm 1.725V to run Quad at 9-11-10-30-214-1T....so not pretty to run daily. I think that this mobo doesn't need the trick of pll override. I can run directly 5ghz. ( 6core ).
