Hey all!

So im having loads of problems with the Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 board, the last owner did not get over 5.2GHz from 2600K, I bought the board and cpu and tried myself, same, sold the cpu and bought another 2600K, exact same results.

So im buying a Z68 board, I mean a real cheap one that the same owner bought as a replacement GA-Z68X-UD3-B3 and on that board cpu did 5.4 with ease.

So, right now im getting that blue horrid mobo but am thinking on if I should but some moar money in and get a decent one?

The cheap giga board im buying is for 85€ but overclocks a lot more then my current 260€ board i bought for 170€

So, any advice on what to get?

I NEED, SLI!, SATA3, USB3. Gonna run SSD as Win and 3x F3-s in RAID0 + 2x2,5Tb in RAID0.

Im doing lots of videoediting so encoding time is crucial for me.

fyi: cpu overclock is mostly determined by cpu, not by mobo.

lol, I know that, but how do you explain that 2 cpu-s did not go over 5.2GHz on this board while on a cheap 80dollar mobo it did 5.4.
