Would HWB consider adding the new cards in with the original 5 & 6-series cards?

 

(and the same also for the nVidia equivalent)

 

(yes, even if that means bundling the 9800GT in with the 8800GT for example......)

technically, merging some categories makes sense .. but I think it's all down to how hwbot Gods want to manage their DB

I dunno... I'd prefer separate categories, the database will look much cleaner that way.

Rebranding is a bitch, but it has been for years so nothing new. I don't see how this newsarticle would have to make us change the way we have been managing the database.
