Is this board a gem or a Lemon?

Many folks seem to have had major problems with the early BIOS, including hardware damage. That may (or may not) include me. I'll post more about that later.

The feature set is really great for me, but I'm getting no love overclocking, and given the price, I'm seriously considering returning it.
