I understand Gulftown is not allowed yet, cause it isn t available.

But the the benchs was separated by CPU cores (1 core; 2 cores; 3 cores; 4 cores and 6 cores).

If its ready in a rev.3, i think there are no problem to allow i7 980X.

For exemple, gulftown will compete in a diferent category Wprime (multicore bench), but in the same category global superpi (no multicore bench).

Its one a sugestion...

The 2D and 3D landscape will be totally different with Gulftown. Here are the three main reasons why we have made the rule that unreleased hardware cannot be used in HWBOT for points untill the release.
