On 3DMark 2001 the result its Ok , see it : Any idea that low result on Aquamark ? Thanks on advance Quote
K404 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Hey bro! Fermi + XP is terrible for AM3, you need to use W7 Quote
Guest Ximi Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Hello friend ! That's Ok , I try on Win 7 quickly !! Thanks for idea ! Quote
Massman Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Apply same tweak like you do for 01 + fermi and you will have good AM3 scores in XP. Quote
Christian Ney Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 good aka better than under Win7 with proper tweaks ? Quote
K404 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Apply same tweak like you do for 01 + fermi and you will have good AM3 scores in XP. Poor performance in XP is down to D3D? Quote
Guest Ximi Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 good aka better than under Win7 with proper tweaks ? Low result anyway on Win 7 , 254 K only ..... With old Aquamark the results are the best than now. Quote
Guest Ximi Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Have you renamed the aquamark3.exe? That's Ok , now Yeahhhh good result here : http://hwbot.org/submission/2297158_ximi_aquamark_geforce_gtx_580_378140_marks?recalculate=true Not the best but good near. Thanks friend !! Quote
K404 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Any time bro! Can you push to 1066MHz strap for the memory? That will help you for sure Quote
GENiEBEN Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Apply same tweak like you do for 01 + fermi and you will have good AM3 scores in XP. Cmon just tell people to use PRE_D3D9_COMP_BIT Quote
Guest Ximi Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Any time bro! Can you push to 1066MHz strap for the memory? That will help you for sure Well done bro !!! Now adjust best memory timing , scaling Mhz , best setup and high +3000. Not my best result but seems good ! http://hwbot.org/submission/2297171_ximi_aquamark_geforce_gtx_580_380907_marks?recalculate=true In the Bios I put it on Xtreme Bit , its ASUS Maximus IV Extreme. Massman Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Poor performance in XP is down to D3D? No. Cmon just tell people to use PRE_D3D9_COMP_BIT Hehe ... I thought that was super-obvious Quote
K404 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 No. Hehe ... I thought that was super-obvious So...... changing a D3D setting fixes AM3, but the fix isn't related to D3D? Quote
Massman Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 It's the same Nvidia Inspector tweak for Fermi+01 that also fixes Aquamark3 XP performance The bit is called 'PRE_D3D9_COMP_BIT' Quote
K404 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 You missed my question? Me: "Poor performance in XP is down to D3D?" You: "No." ....but.....it IS down to D3D by the looks of things. I guess it's a mute point. Benchmark fix = benchmark fix Quote
Massman Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I thought you were talking about the D3D Overrider tool, my bad! Quote
Guest Ximi Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Hello , At XP SO , activate D3DOverride and nvidia inspector bit at Aquamark is the best result. See here its the best result than Win 7 : This setting is valid for 3D03 , 3D05 ? The result high exponentially. Quote
