Gulftown will lanuch at 16th March, if you have a sample and you will treat it using liguid nitorgen, then you need to do this modification, the mod will let you pass 6GHz full loading if your chip is good enough.

Is the single CPU power plug not holding the clocking back? Asus, MSI and eVGA are touting dual CPU plugs.... I was a bit worried about power distribution

 

a 15K in parallel will give 7.6K... is that too low? Would be a more elegant solution than messing with 50K or 100K trimmers

 

16.6-16.7K is the perfect value :P

Intersil ISL6336 AFAIK

EDIT: The mod adjusts signal on TM (Thermal Monitor) pin. Something to do with low temps on mosfets?
