Posted December 8, 201212 yr so today i got an old dewar, i want to give it a lick of paint can you do this or may i not ? (safety regulations and others) thanks
December 8, 201212 yr If it's a good dewar you will not have condensation on the outside so I don't thinks it's a problem to give it a pink colour
December 8, 201212 yr Author it looks a pretty old one (i have inherited it from Oldscarface) btw i was thinking of black or a kind of green not pink
December 9, 201212 yr Maybe if you had special paint. I bought old one dewar painted @ yellow (very old, but vacuum is good) and during 1st refilling paint started to pull off...
December 10, 201212 yr how about cleaning it first!!! if you get it filled from the plant a lot of ln2 comes out so, you have to find a paint which won't come out at so low temps!!!
December 10, 201212 yr Can radiator paint only handle heat or is it slightly "flexible" so it can handle changes in temperature? I would laugh so hard if someone snuck into FunSkilZZ workshop and painted his dewar pink with yellow flowers
