Voltage control GTX580 Lightning Extreme?

Featured Replies

Can't seem to get past 1.216v on this card.

Enabled the dip switches but to no avail.

Tried several ABX editions but voltage is always stuck at +0.200.

Ideas?

Drivers, skill? :)

I tried the 2.10 MOA edition and it gives 1.6v but doesn't apply it.

Used a multimeter to confirm.

Does all the switches have to be at the ON position?

Did you switched to LN2 BIOS ?

I didn't have lightning X version , but it should be same as 1.5GB. First double switch from right should boost vGPU and vMem 0.1 Volt, try them. Did you measure voltage with multimeter under gpu load ? Turn all switches On but don't stay on full load for long time.

Southerner switch (near PCI-E slot) is for cold-bug , I don't think that should be necessary to be On. (Num 1 = on : -80C , Num 1+2 = on : -180C)

Yes, turned them all on, nothing changed.

Max voltage I could get is 1.276v with AUX at +.05.

Thanks!

Did you check while in 3dmode? Enable Force constant voltage, in Afterburner settings. :)

There is an LN² bios on the card, but I get the CB at -75°.

I can use the same bios as on the 1.5GB version?
