DopeLex - Pentium 4 3.0 GHz Northwood (200 FSB) @ 4340MHz - 31sec 688ms SuperPi - 1M

Thx. Hit a wall at ~4370, doesn't matter what setting. On LN2 would be probably much more in it.

Really - FSB wall's on NW-C's? Didn't knew that until now, i'm just figuring out the whole S478 OC stuff. Then 100 Mhz gain on LN2 isn't it worth at the cost's i have to pay and driving 300km to pick it up. Think i should somewhen buy another one and hope for a better one with higher wall. Thx Sam. :)

FSB wall will be your biggest problem if you ever set out to do 200% OC on s478. This is why, for example, not a single of my eleven 1.6 D1 celerons has done it, even though 4.8GHz is no big deal for D1 on LN2.

Oh okay - once again something learned - Thx Sam. :) Have to see how other CPU's behave on cold, it's fun to bench S478 - my new nr. 2 favorite. :D
