it seems my best haswell chip (L310B) died yesterday under 32M running... after loop15 random bsod and never woke up... guys, really dont recommended to use your ln2 pot without mounting, last time on pentium it worked on z97x soc force ln2 board, but with a 4c/8t chip it means more heat, im sure it died bcoz of this, i can see a lil black spot on the die, bunnyextraction happens RIP

I guess that you was using a Force LN2?. Sorry for your CPU, how good was that CPU?

thank you mate, yes it was on SOC Force LN2 board, which has no mounting holes. but i had a pretest session with my pentium g3258 to test it with no mounting, and i considered it safe. lil pentium did 6.2G 32M, but its definately not that hot chip like this 4770K was...

how good it was? 6.8G valid, nearly 6.5G 32M :/

i was running 32M at 6450 1.82vcore/2.40vccin/1.45vring when ive got bsod at loop 15...

We all would like to see your jaw snapping on a video of the time you tested this cpu for the first time :D. wprime at 1.18v and 6.6+ 06 is unbelievable.

Just to add to this thread:

L316B293 4770K

4.9GHz 1.45v no boot

4.8GHz 1.4v boot into Windows

4.7GHz 1.36v GPUPI 1B stable

4.6GHz 1.275v (didn't try lower) GPUPI 1B stable

4.5GHz 1.225v (didn't try lower) GPUPI 1B stable

Not sure if it is worth getting this one under LN2 or not...

I got another, and this one is freakin' awful!

The batch number is L336D059.

Very similar voltage scaling to the above.

However, here's the kicker.

It can in absolutely NO way do above 2000 MHz on the memory. 2133 MHz fails to boot, even at very relaxed timings and various volts, on four different memory kits. Even with anywhere from -0.05v to +0.3v on the IMC.

What a dog.

4670K, L315B488, non delidded

0,976v vid, 5ghz 4threads ~1,3v wprime32m on XP, runs very hot on my bad cooler, will test it later on gene7 with better air cooler

Edit 1,35v 4/4 Spi32m, 1,175v 4,5ghz cache, extremely hot with bad cooler (85 degrees 1,15v 4,5ghz xtu), can do 2667 tight with psc and 2800c9 samsung
