August 31, 201312 yr I bought an Amstron replacement battery for my Asus Eee PC 4G and it takes three days to charge. Is this typical of new laptop batteries, such as http://www.caccu.nl/asus-eee-pc-4g-batterij.html ? Do off-brand batteries not work well with Dells? What should I do?
August 31, 201312 yr There are other parts involved in the process and the battery may not be at fault. You can either try another battery from a friend / IT workshop or just send the netbook in for repairs.
September 4, 201312 yr In general, as long as the battery supplies the right voltage and can handle the current draw, if it has the right fitting for the power jack, it will work ok
