How much voltage is considered to be safe for aircooled CFR ?

 

Just for max validation ... not benching.

 

I want to see if this mem module have any more speed left (or my IMC perhaps).

Anything goes for suicide, as long as memory scales.

I ran my CFR TridentX at 2.1+ for a couple of hours on air and haven't noticed any signs of degradation.

I was at 1.9volt (bios) for this validation and there was enough improvement from previous @1.85volt.

 

I am tempted for more ... but i dont want to risk and lose these sticks , both do almost identical speed.

 

That's why i ask.

I did 2,05v on air with MFR without any problems.

I think ,i'll give it a try for just under 2.00 volt next weekend and see how it goes.

I tried up to 2.3v on Transcend Axeram CFR - it becomes noticably worse after 2.15v even for validation on air.
