It's over mate, not worth worrying about.
You are right on the mark bro! Going to forget about this and move forward with the team!

Have reported the 'cheated score' ?
And yes, I always like to add a little comedy to the work I do.
You Banned him already. I will not post the name here because I feel it is improper. The results still stand without any writeup.
http://hwbot.org/competition/team_cup_2012
Geforce 7 series points do reflect the ban! Team points do not! Other teams should have moved up significantly as this user had a lot of the high scores.
Like I said, Sweep it under the rug and hope everyone forgets about it!
-
Not even a write up or anything on the hwbot team cup that finished in August! Sent out prizes but nothing else. Got beat in a Geforce stage by someone who cheated.
My thoughts are, "be very quite, let's just sweep it all under the rug and hope everyone forgets"!
Competitions have become a joke!

9 weeks since the stage I won ended
Gigabyte even upgraded their lineup since the end of the competition. So, basically the prizes are not even from the must current series... rofl.
The way this should've been handled is "stage over" -> "contact winners for shipping details" -> "ship parts". Done. No need to wait till the end of the competition to send the stage prizes, a stage is also a standalone competition - no scores posted in august could change anything related to a stage that ended in July. And also no need to hold the prizes for at least 3 weeks after the end of the competition. You may wonder if prizes will ever be shipped... or if Z89 will be out first.
This is tragic... haha. I feel sorry for the other winners, and I'm somewhat ashamed of being a part of the moderating crew when I see this. I actually hoped some of you other guys had received your stuff, and it was just me who had to wait now.
Changes are definitely required in competitions. Most everyone agrees that these extreme delays are unacceptable. Hwbot has some very responsive moderators like yourself, why not ask them to help with the certifying of results and help produce a news release.
HWBOT has a very loyal membership and fan base.
Massman, if unable to complete tasks in a resonable time frame, needs to delegate some of the responsibility! This is the sign of a true leader.

I think it is pretty comical that 3 weeks after a major competition ends, still no official release!
-
Sorry for my tone! I know you have a lot on your plate!
-
Maybe HWBOT will announce official winners before 2013! It takes longer to get results around here then it does to do the entire contests! Maybe these guys need to hire some help!
-
Thanks Massman!
-
So... is this official now?
I also would like to know this!
-
It is a shame that this was not resolved several days before the end of the competition but the usage of an ES chip was definitely against the rules.
AwardFabrik is an excellent team and superb sandbaggers! Lol
-
If this is allowed, we should be able to modify the benchmarks to run as we like also! Bugged is bugged!
-
Disallowed ram by rules1 No ES products allowed!
-
Very Nice Score! You have a card as good as mine and better DDR3 also!
-
All I can say is WOW!
Nicely Done!
-
Very Nice Mike!
-
No Problem Massman! Enjoy your time away!

These are some interesting Bugs! Every submittal I make actually subtracts from my user points in my team ranking by a factor of ten! If I make a submital worth 20 points, I lose 200!
Trying hard now to submit enough points to go negative in my user points calculation.
Something like this will be shown,
Electroneng: User points: -236.25
This would make me the worst overclocker in History! Especially since I have been a member here since Jan 1970! 42 years and I have not learned a thing!
LOL
-
Yeah,
User points are all messed up! I lost 800 today!
First time in 10 days I could see team member rankings.
-
Could not get my 2nd score to go through until I deleted this one! I will be glad when this server is back straight
-
-
Very Nice! Very Nice Indeed!
-
Hot Damn! Way to go Bro!
-
Fixed!
Thanks Massman!

Very Impressive Soldering on that card. It takes good skill to attach to those little Pads! I still screw up 1/3 of the cards I try to modify.
