  3. I was just like to say before I start that I have no been paid to do this review and I paid full retail price and shipping on the table so there is no bias here. I will also update this as I use it if I find any large faults with it.

For the better part of a year now I have been using an Easy 2.5 which everyone knows is huge. They elected to set the PSU on the side so it is extremely tall and very heavy in general. I figured I would give an OBT a try even though I had never heard of Streacom but I figured if HWBOT was willing to put their name on it then the company must be decent.

After a month of waiting I got a box DHL express which I really wasn't expecting and I had basically forgotten about even ordering one. It came in a normal brown box that was actually pretty beat up so I was a little worried. Opening it up you are greeted with this:

    0mDUrtZ.jpg

It is properly wrapped in a very tough bubble wrap that kept the box the table was in from getting damaged so +1 for you guys because I can't stand getting something where the box is beat up because they were cheap on the packing material.

Inside that you have 2 items, a soft sided carrying case and the box the table is in. The case was even in another bag that kept it clean.

    iW3RBIa.jpg

    PiCVqyb.jpg

The OBT box itself had 3 seals on it so you knew it hadn't been opened by customs or anyone else for that matter. Upon opening you are greeted with the very clean and slick looking aluminum table that is surrounded by a soft foam that has been formed to fit the OBT. Once you take the table out there is a set of instructions which are printed in full color. Mine was glued to the box though so it kinda tore when pulling it out.

    yJFw7XA.jpg

Directions if you want to look at them:

    http://i.imgur.com/GFejN8P.jpg

Now onto the actual bench. Instructions were included but real men just start unscrewing things until something comes loose which is exactly what I did. All of the screws feel of top quality and the threads are extremely nice on them. 4 screws lets both set of feet swing loose. They are then attached at each end with the same 4 screws. All 4 holes are slightly countersunk I assume to make sure no pins on the back of your board touch them. Both legs have rubber feet on the bottom so it will not slide.

With the legs on you have this:

    2oWdPtm.jpg

Now a lot of times things like this are extremely wobbly and I wouldn't trust it but this thing is rock solid. I could probably stand on it and it wouldn't buckle. The feet contain all the standoffs for the motherboard. Included are 8 standard screw type standoffs and 8 banana plug snap type which I personally thinks is an awesome idea. I one issue is a standard mobo has 9 standoffs so if you want one in every hole you will have to use 1 of the opposite kind.

    YurQWMA.jpg

As you can see the plugs stick up just barely above the mobo so there isn't a worry about them being in the way. To remove your mobo you simply pull up and it comes off with no trouble so switching mobos is quick and simple.

That is as far as I went with assembly but this is definitely going to become my main bench table.

    Quick pros and cons list:

    Pros

    + Lightweight

+ Small and easily carried with you during lans

    + High quality parts

    + Quick assembly

    + Quick to switch mobo

    + Tool-less design

    + Carrying case included

+ Great customer service(had a question and emailed them and got a reply back the same day)

    Cons

    - Only supports up to an ATX Mobo

    - Mix and match standoffs for ATX Mobo if you want to use all 9

    - Not the easiest thing to disassemble

    - Not movable with PSU attached(It might be fine there is just no support besides 4 screws).

    - All branding it on the back/bottom. I was really hoping to see a logo on the top of it.

  4. WT fees was for live ticket + free LN2

Here it's "only" to join a contest.

I drove 1000km to join France WT and fly 20.000km to join TW WT and paid twice 100e . Should I pay again for online ticket Johan ?

Maybe it can be "free" for people who already paid WT ticket or not (I'm not talking for myself, I won't join it even if it's free, too busy, it's only to show you it's not that easy)

    Having some maths :

    Let say 20people with 50euros ticket = 1000euros

If it's a german (Dancop ? ) that win this ticket. then flights fee will be f*** low :D and accommodation will be easily cover right ?

In this case extra money will be refund ?

    For example 300e hotel + 100e flying ticket -> 1000 - 400e . will you refund 30euros to the 20 member ?

I know, it could be 2 people that join wild card and an asian guy that win with 1000e flying ticket :D

My feeling : it's a bad move to add fee to join an offline contest.

I only agree to there being no fee if they remove all the prizes except a pass to champ(excludes airfare and hotel). Flying someone from the US anywhere but the US easily cost $1000 and probably more.

If someone wins and it doesn't cost them everything I would rather see it go toward another event to provide more prizes than be refunded. I don't know any sport where you have to pay an entry fee that refunds it if you don't win and they don't spend all the money. How do you determine who gets a refund and who gets screwed over?

  5. ya I hear ya, but this should be considered a 6.7+ cpu, so I think $450 is pretty fair. It has done 6700mhz hwbot prime and 6.7 3d is very easy, not many of these floating around and will still be pretty powerful even with kaby lake.

I can also provide a brand new retail 6700k if this one dies because of the damage. I just would need it back first.

The worst that happens is you list it for that and then it doesn't sell and you lower it. I mean if it works then it shouldn't be an issue especially if you are willing replace it with a new one.

  6. Gunny had a caseking 6.5+ and had it for around $600 without any luck so I would say for one that is damaged you aren't going to get more than $350-$450 max. Just doesn't seem like people are wanting to spend large money on 6700k.

  7. You may want to consider using Google Wallet since paypal is going to be nice and take 3% from every person then another 3% when you send it to the two of them. Google doesn't charge fees as long as you aren't using a debit or credit card to pay and it is coming straight from a bank account.

I don't have a lot to contribute but I can throw in a few dollars.

Last thing, since dimastech has filed for bankruptcy is there a way for them to file a claim against any assets the company has to get the money back?
