I think 0.7 versions of y-cruncher are inferior to 0.8 versions (0.8.1, 0.8.2 and 0.8.5) of the software. I don’t know wich of the newer versions have advantages over each other but I think on Windows 7 version 0.8.2 performes best on i7 Intel Haswell CPUs. Are there different opinions?

1032 MHz RAM with 8-12-8 timing? I think you can do better than that ;-)

Looks like Windows 8? Nice. In my opinion, it's an underrated OS. I prefer it to W10. But the availability of drivers is terrible these days.

Hi True Monkey, das ist ja ein witziger Zufall! Ich bin auch gerade mit einem i5-2500 zugange. Bei 7-Zip bin ich gerade bei ~23100 Punkten. Zwischen uns könnte es also noch spannend werden. Leider ist bei meinem Core 0 ziemlich mies…

I think in this benchmark has Windows XP an advantage over Win 7. But does 2000 also has an advantage over XP?
