Re-hosted these two BIOSes. Can anyone provide any feedback on the version and whether or not there's PLL override available?

.A0E i had no problems all the way up to 5.3ghz pll was left on auto just set 50x / 1866mhz xmp and 1.4vcore

i put the post on the msi fourm the issue appers to be intel ME related and not bios
problem is now both the bios's on the gd-80 are crouupt and im awaiting a blank chip so i can get it working and finish my testing

Thank you, I have just seen that as I am a student at the university I can have windows vista business with SP2 for free. Damn, 2.8 GB to download with my 120ko/s bandwith. It is going to take 2 days

I dont have the 32bit version of vista, only 64bit.
I will buy it, is it better to have it with or without any SP

just search torrentz for tiny vista i never tryed the 64bit ver but i bet its the same for scoreing

I have tried windows XP and Windows 7(64bit) and XP won with an advantage of 3000 pts. ( maybe because I used 64bit version, or because my windows XP is very soft. As I don't know any tweaks I always use fresh installations ).I will try the 32bit version ASAP.
just install vista 32bit you will be shocked

What is powertoy ?
And how to use a program as PCMark is going to abort tests if you leave his window ?
For me it seems impossible to cheat with PCMark, do you have a proof or a video ?

That run is still suspect Christian Ney. Lower sub-scores all around than Evocarlos and with a lesser graphics card? Your HDD General usage time is obscured as are your encoding times. Not saying it's a cheat just saying it looks pretty off to me. It's pretty easy to tweak the 1st multi-thread test using Powertoy you know.

yeah had tryed a encoder program like power toy about 6months ago and a diffrent encoder but the main thing is hwbot rules apply anything that alters the benchmark defaults or the way it runs is invalid so i just run the stock pcm05 no software mods..pro also did the program for the encoder it was a pic of a guy in a mankinie

its very easy to spot and if you see a ss with the vid encoding score coverd by cpu-z or gpu-z you never know they might be using..
the vid encoding shold be about 75% less than the audio encoding
e.g if audio was 4000 the vid encoding shold be around the 1000 -1200 mark

ahh thats only casue you bought all the 478 cpus and we cant get them in the uk haha j/k tbh i dont have a 478 mobo i actully dont know what is a good one to buy ?

BTW, if you could re-upload the SS it should work properly.
ive tryed with the pcm05 you blocked of mine it dont work its still 400x400 but ive added the images to the links tab and added the image to the photos list

my pcm05 x1 wr score has been blocked for the screen shot size it chaged size when there was al that trouble with the bot some time ago
but the problem is not my end its bot side i have reuploaded 3 times and images and its still 400x400
ive added the links to the image and a second copy of the image on the link

thanks its my 3rd card 1st card did 1060 1.31v on air the 2nd card did 1080 1.31v on air and 1400 1.58v ln2 but then the mem pwm popped so heres the 3rd card its only the 2nd time ive used it had run 3dm01 nature @ 1100 so i knew it was a good air clocker

Team effort and the WR owner for wprime x1 is from xtremelabs
PCmark x1 is from benchtec
and nobody has ever bothered to run vantage on an x1 competitively I don't think lol. Records are there to be broken
