Had an e-mail saying one of my 3dmark06 scores is not valid. It is a valid score i still have the screen shot which i have re-checked all seems to be ok what is the reason for this score being taken down?

My score is only been uploaded to hwbot i cannot find it anymore. I still have the screen shot which i can upload again.

It's obvious he ran it at 1024x768 without meaning to. That's what 06 by default will do if you have a monitor that doesn't work at 1280x1024.

 

Either way the score isn't valid.

Yeah, it always says that IIRC. A compare link would settle it for certain though.

screenie will always say 1280x1024 even if u run on lower res because of your mointor not supporting 1280x1024 i know this issue but i am surprised u DO NOT know it

i have lcd with 1440x900 but when making screen from 3m6k it shows 1280x1024 which is impossible but still it shows 1280x1024

at least i cant support my words with a screenie coz what i see now that it shows my resolution correctly but i swear it was not correct few months ago so i guess u are right... about present but i swear i had 1280x1024 even if my monitor didnt supported it and i have kind of a good memory but u are rite at the moment

i have re checked and this is a valid score check the screen shot cpu was under dice gpu is volt modded and water cooled please check again.

Me and scott did this run together. Are we ok to as why it was deleted?

 

Apart from having the CPU on Dice, and the GPU volt modded and on water, there's nothing special apart from a benching version of WinXP and some LoD tweaks.

There is no legal way you can get 18k in 3DMark06 with Core 2 Duo + 1х8800GT. End of story.

All scores now deleted will be re-benched with orb links thanks for the help.
