How did you manage to get 2.88ghz? With 2x 8 power connectors?

That works if you have reasonable cross-sections of the power supply cables. Of course you have to be careful that the cables don't get too warm. And the PCI-E bus also provides 75 watts

But now I also use two power supplies. The Corsair HXi 1200 for Cpu and the rest. A Seasonic Prime only for the GPU
