JapresTEF Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Dear Mod, I'm new here and want to make sure I am doing things right: 1) When submitting results with HW at stock settings vis-a-vis CPU freqs, and GPU freqs etc, am I correct in leaving those fields blank even though others seem to fill in that data field with the stock setting ? 2) If the CPU and GPU come with a stock fan should the result be submitted as cooling:stock or as colling:air ? I could find no place on website defining what is stock vs air. 3) my rig is basically a retail Compaq Presario S5400NX but I unlocked the mb by flashing the bios over to OEM ASUS so now CPU-ID and Futuremark Systeminfo all show it the same as its bootup splash screen does as a P4G800-V http://reviews.cnet.com/motherboards/asus-p4g800-v-motherboard/1707-3049_7-30567063.html I believe that is how I should list it when I submit If you agree would you add P4G800-V to the mb lists? Right now I have submitted under ASUS and chipset 865G. Thanks in advance, Quote
Crew Turrican Posted February 20, 2012 Crew Posted February 20, 2012 1.)even when running stock i would enter the clocks, it's just better when people later search for a specific result. 2.)if it's bone stock yes. but if you add more fans for better air cooling, etc. it's air. 3.) i added the board. http://www.hwbot.org/hardware/motherboard/p4g800-v/ Quote
JapresTEF Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 Turrican, Thx and very cool how you loaded the mb pics into that page and for the rest of us who have never heard "bone stock" before http://classiccars.com/Community/Glossary.aspx#b sounds like what we say here "bare-bones" or "as off-the-shelf" Thx again Quote
