and that was with a game downloading the back ground on steam best settings not to over loading the cpu at 3.42 GHz. at peak and a content speed of about 3.23 GHz. no thermal throttling, no power throttling, but current limit throttling, maybe because my settings works great give it a shot

I think this is the best setting for my laptop at 3600Mhz. all you really get is 3200MHz. with some thermal throttling, that (saying your laptop is to heat so we got to slow you down), this said the asus laptop work just as will and cooler at 3000MHz.
