Good move! I'm up to 52.9 points from something like 26
I'm happy to continue benching
-
It started when I began overclocking in 2007, then I took part in the forum warz for OCC in 2008, and stumbled across BenchtecUK trying to find some tweaks, and then found hwbot and it began.
-
i know...i was making a comment in general. they need to award points for this benchmark
It's no free, so it won't be awarded points, a member of staff said this a few weeks ago when this was brought up somewhere.
-
I can understand why you need to do this, to keep the people at the top happy, but also their sponsors happy too. Without that then hwbot wouldn't work at all.
I agree that some sort of additional reward for users who get the highest scores is good, but the initial suggested figures are a bit high. I suppose like everything with rev3, it just needs a little bit of tweaking to get it right. Most importantly though, people need to stop moaning and get on with it. This is only going to affect the top people, not me, so I'm not bothered at the end of the day.

RIP John.
-
No, it's still classed as 4 core.
Even with all cores and HT on, it's still 4 core.
EDIT: Beaten to it...
-
Proste, I know you have scores for all cards with the same CPU etc, but they have differing GPU/Mem clocks.
Would it be possible to run a comparison with them all at the same clocks to sort out the query over the difference?

Ok, but what about these kind of threads, they don't display properly like they used to.

Actually, I've just realised the popup is easier, saves having to load the image and then go back to the previous page.
I think I've found a bug, or I'm just missing something here...
http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=936711 there is alot of comments there, as you scroll down, yes?
when I view the thread on the forum, I only see massman's comments. This has happened with a few different things also.

Doh!
I somehow got the idea that these chips did't exist. Can you link me up with cpu-z links for the data, I'll restore them asap.
They do exist, but the results that were on hwbot were done with other chips made to look like the real thing.
I haven't installed them yet, but when I do, I'll just submit a ticket with the relevant information, unless an image of the chip itself would do?
Thanks

No, the popup is back
I hate that. Why are people using IE?
-
Just FYI: all scores have been blocked and hardware categories have been removed.
Can the categories be put back please, as I have some genuine chips for them.
-
so ? Will the category be crated or what ? Sorry, I am not sure what do you mean
I think that agrees with your point and says it will be sorted in time.
-
You just can't please some people.
-
Which hall of fame are you referring to? Please link
Also please note posts with profanity will be ignored and/or deleted. If you can not voice your concerns without cursing, you will not be listened to.
Sorry, my mistake.
I meant the ranking pages, for example this - http://hwbot.org/listResults.do?cpuModelId=1652&applicationId=13&filterUser=true&filterBlocked=true&limit=100.
It's quite hard to read, maybe it's just me.
What do you think everybody?
-
Not quite sure but this appears to be bugged - http://hwbot.org/listResults.do?cpuModelId=2009&applicationId=13&filterUser=true&filterBlocked=true&limit=100
Coolaler appears twice? Surely that's not right?
Also, will the hall of fame ever become more space or spread out, with a bigger font or something? It seems very compact and difficult to browse.
-
Nice to see the bugs are being sorted out quickly.
From what I understand that points distribution is better than the current one.
-
Well, one of them is, the other is two cards. This means that if jefreynnv gets his combination right he could easily take second.
-
There are alot of difference between your score and their scores, don't automatically assume cheating.
-
The rules on the site state no old results.
-
I've overlooked something then
-
deleting a score on ORB doesn't delete a screenshot at HWbot
OK, I get that.
But, the screenshot of a free version doesn't give you the score or sub test scores, just says you've completed the test...
