Some more new toys for the new Platform, I also got two set G.Skill RipJaws rams 2G X2 which are designed and engineered for P67 platform, from my quick test, they are doing much better than those Rams for P55 chipsets, let's see later (after NDA) :D

  3. The new generation LGA 1155 platform will be announced very soon. With some pretests I have done, good performance clock to clock to i7 4C8T, though my 2300k ES (2.8G default but has 4C8T) is not very outstanding, running at 4.5G 24/7 is good enough, lower temperature in both in CPU and Chipset, SATA 6.0 & USB 3.0 supporting, I am very willing to build a new desktop as my workstation to replace my old E6600 P35 platform.

Here is my new P67 MB, Asus P8P67 Deluxe:

The Features - Dual Giga Lan, Double USB 3.0, Bluetooth, DIGI+VRM and new generation EFI BIOS....etc

The MotherBoard and Accessories: Here we see the MB.......:)

Accesories: A front USB 3.0 connector, some USB cables, a CrossFire bridge, Manual and Instruction User Guides, driver disc, back plate, EZ-connectorx...etc.

Closer Look to the MotherBoard: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe:

    dscf9718.jpg

The 16+2 phase DIGI+ VRM units are covered by rather large Heatsink, the holes for heatsink is compatible with previous LGA1156 heatsinks.

4 X DDR3 Dimms supports maximum 32G Memory, 24pins Power Input, MemOK button to check your rams, and a TPU switch

  4. It's a wonder that this Q3FE is still alive with that much vcore and vtt you put in to reach that high CPU and uncore frequency :)

    Anywaz great result :)

Thx, this A0 is amazing :), it still can do similiar freq. as before, just have degraded +0.01 to 0.02V. VTT~1.625 to 1.65V.

    I always think Vanatge CPU test is a killer, I tested a retail 980X, CB @ -155C, 5.8G passed Vantage Test @ 1.85V, 5.7G @ 1.808V, but degraded a lot after the test. now +0.1V @ 4G 24/7...=.=

  5. Just want to share my opinion.

For Team benching session, practically, it is not easy or even impossible to distinguish any hardware sharing. They always own a lot of CPUs, GPUs...showing the receipt means nothing to us, invoice can be very easy to get if they are getting the hardwares from connected shops.

They tested and then use the self-binned CPU or GPU to play the game....how can we to prove there is any hardware sharing!?

I know, nothing is perfect! Just my little opinion! :)

  6. Nice going , a little high vcore , just a bit :).

    thx...mate!!! :)

The CPU-Z shows a bit higher Vcore, while I use DMM to measure, it is solid at 1.95V (1.94375 BIOS).

32M can be done at 6.6G but efficiency is not good, may try other BIOS.

Something good, with my A0, yesterday, I got no CBB with 704 BIOS even I change mulitplier, no. of cores, uncore ratio, RAM CL....it still can boot at -180C :D

  7. Which brings back the topic about scores from events with hardware that the overclockers don't own shouldn't be submitted or awarded with points.

I don't quite understand, the event only run a few 3D06, and operated solely by me, and my own rig? How can it be shared? Can you give me some links for your claimed sharing score please? :)

  8. @ TinTin@OCQQ

Wanna see how things are on the other side ?

Let's swap CPUs for a day, and we'll then see how you'll react and how easy you'll take it.

The message is very clear... maybe it's too bright for some people...

I also bench with retail i5 661, yes, not as good as ES. Seeing many good ES results, SPI 1M, 32M, Wprime32M, 1024M....etc. I didn't complain since it was just me not going to find the good ES.
