  1. Accepted to be defected

How in the world did you see things that way? I never give up on getting better scores & reaching the top, so as other Pro leagues I suppose.

Great bencher like rbuass never stops beating himself in every single moment.

The one to beat is YOURSELF, man, NOT the one on the top with monster chips & best hardware. That’s the spirit of every SPORTS & OVERCLCOKING

Damn, I’m really disappointed to see this line of thinking, PJ

    Death of Overclocking

The Pro league was the cause of Death of OC? We ain’t Messiah, dude

Who can change the downfall of DIY? Asus? Gigabyte? Perhaps, the good old Steve Jobs

Please dun shift off its’ blame onto Pro League guys

And stick to the subject concerned…dun shift & no dissertation please!!

Last words in this thread, see no points to go any further

  2. PJ

Good to see your prompt reply. Dinner alright?

    My opinion:-

Pro OC Cup won’t give you a dime. HWbot staff must go out there to grab the business

    Reality is cruel but true!!

    What makes things look boring?

The never changing benchmarks, same old faces of the Pro League members, or the league format being run?

Yes, same as the XOC & Enthusiast…too bad, it is what it is, can’t help much, can we!

Why XOC members won’t join the Pro league?

No hardware sponsors, not confident enough, or actually want to stay on top of the list?

You know it, I know it, lots of XOC receive supports more than enough to compete with the Pro League.

Dun we see the same benchmarks, same faces & same format in the XOC?

Understood that resources are limited & HWbot might not be able to keep both the Pro League & the OC Cup. Why not combining the Pro League & XOC as one?! Would that save you some $$$?

One thing that the pro league or XOC members always do, which is their ability & devotion to maximize hardware performance in terms of making great scores that many users around the world would follow.

We surely dun want to see some, if not all, of those great benchers going Limbo!

    Sorry, a little offtopic…

You know what I want to see as a HWbot fan? Some events like:-

Andre, Cookie, Shamino, Vince, etc. compete live

    Fray-San, Duck-San showing off their 32m run

Many things that could make HWbot become a FUN community

why making it in a hard way !!

As Marc always says, just my 5 cents…lol

  3. Easy, guys !!

Massman is willing to listen, good !!

Pretty damn sure the “Poll” that Fester has just made is self-explanatory…people want the Pro League back for whatever reasons.

Voices are still being ignored. You were saying something like "yeah, good reference & reconsider after 3 cups." No hard feeling, PJ, but it seems to me that you’re saying "Dun come in to my house & tell me what to do."

It really doesn’t matter which league I’m in. Slamms spoke out the reasons for many overclcokers of what they see as true OC

Any problem or difficulty to keep the Pro League & go on with Pro OC Cup at the same time?? Why insist to terminate the league & go for Cup??

I dun get it & really appreciate if you let us know, thx!

  4. Interesting enough, who’s behind all this? Some smart boys from Mars?

Massman dun seem to be a dictator to me…no, no, no!!

Sorry to see the Pro OC League removed with not much concern for the majority of its’ members

Agree to keep the league & add quarterly freestyle comp. as most of the Pro OC members suggested & accepted….and that’s COMMUNITY!!

Dun want to get into its’ details as I dun think I will join the new cup anyway

    Good Luck, HwBot !!

  5. Guys, thx for all your concern

Many familiar faces & good, honest benchers here that I do care about

    Dear Slamms

    No hard feeling at all

Prior notice of group benching was made to HWbot

    http://hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=54248

HWbot was duly informed of our progress all along

    Different CPUs/UP7/LN2 pots (F1 Gemini & Evaporator) /Rams/SSD, E-Ram, I-Ram/

    cooling methods/but same trimmed OS

As enquires were made by a few power users having some issues running SPI32m with the board, focus on that benchmark in similar setting and environment was necessary

E20 was the only bios given

    3x UP7 different ver. (0.2 to 1.0) for testing

This maybe a little off topic, but please bear with me as I see friends here are pretty concerned with “CPUs”

People who know me understand that I can get as many chips as I need

Why? I buy & I do receive supports from local vendors/shops/sponsors

My job doesn’t relate a bit to computer hardware business, nor HKEPC

Overclocking is just my hobby in leisure time

    Dear Fester

Dun be…! Association or education takes time…

John is a newbie & gets a lot to learn including “right” ways to respect the community in a humble manner if you will

& yes, I agree that going too much FTW will lose one’s heart & passion for OC

Let me make it simple! If things are out of line w/o any reasons after warning, appropriate action will be taken w/o hesitation

Anything you need to let me know, please do so, but judgment call is mine!

    Dear HWbot

I’m not in the position to criticize the right & wrong of the rules

I understand that It’s very difficult to play the “balance”

But all voices must be heard & taken into account on fair basis

Should anything come up about my Team, kindly inform me, thx!

Please dun call people "Fuckers," no discussion is possible!!

Excuse me for not responding to everyone’s enquiry!
