Over the last couple of months, the overclocking community has been facing numerous acts of cheating. Be it illegal hardware sharing to photoshopping to sharing and selling benchmark scores, any of those are considered severe crimes in our community. This subforum is dedicated to collecting information on fraud, cheats and anything other related to overclocking. Users who want to share evidence on any of these activities can do that in this part of the HWBOT forum.

Why even bother? It damages the rankings even more that you allow him to have a second name that is breaking records for MSI lighting launch. He can have a score with 2 ranks above other people dropping them an extra place. This sucks, I tried to ignore it but it makes no sense. Subbing for country cup is also a sham. Can you share with me why he is being protected by hwbot? This is turning into a total circus. A total Cirque du Soleil in this case. What am I missing here? If I wanted to be entertained I would just call SlinkyPC.

While we are at it... Hardware-sharing. What is allowed or not. Seen it in the Lightning subs. Not only do some share the same GPU, but sharing the full pc platform in the benchmark. I guess when you share the same platform you also share same Cpu, GPU, memory and ssd. From what I think this isn't allowed from what i can understand from the rules. Or maybe I don't completly understand this rules due English ain't my first language? Please englightning me what's correct. Use of same (binned/golden) GPU or platform for posting results from several users (two or more) will push other users down the ranking list. And same happens in several different benchmarks posted on hwbo…

I have found submissions from IntelGuy under both the 3x GTX-660 GK104 & GK106 category . Under ALL of their 3x GK106 submissions -> GPU-Z Clearly Shows that a GK104 GPU was used in the bench. Here is a link to one of the submissions : https://hwbot.org/submission/3346371 If this had been a BIOS MOD/Unlocked hardware then WHY was their scores from the 1x or 2x runs not also subbed under the GK106? Thank You

I am looking through 4090 results to compare setups and see why my scores are terrible (besides me being terrible and/or having not-good silicon), and I've already found a couple of non-ECC results with missing or cropped screens. I'm reporting them as I go along, but I guess fair warning to mods to check those reports to make sure I'm making valid reports, and to the people posting them that they will need to re-run and re-submit correct results. Do I need to do anything more, and also, am I a dick for doing so?

I was running some 3DMarks and accidently submitted Night Raid for Port Royal. I edited and changed the score to 0 in the meantime because it was trying to give me 1st place gold cup I did not deserve but someone needs to delete the score because it's still giving me points. Thanks bunches https://hwbot.org/submission/5137565_

Has this website OVERCLOCK.NET also become the flank of the cover cheating door? It has charged my premium membership fee and blocked me again!!!! I became a regular member first and used it for a while. Yesterday I paid to upgrade to a premium member~ Just after I reported cheating~ Today the website said that I am not eligible for membership! What about my money?

"Anyone want to swap your top scores for another top score Luumi's your man, I got this message last night: Here is the message and my reply. "come on that 1210 share me file ill give you 1386 this is almost too good man... Windows 8 pro sounds that it is surely bugged" My Response to Luumi: Just to be clear I do not cheat I hate cheaters and will have absolutely nothing more to do with Luumi, he can go and play where ever he likes but I'm done with his I expect your score attitude. My files are bugg…

Noticed that two DDR4 world records (1st and 2nd) are made by two different users but literally same hardware, same settings, same bios, same os Rules only stated VGA and CPU sharing to be against rules when used in their corresponding benchmarks but if someone is making world records with DDR4 "golden sample" and sharing it, that is ok?

Cloud Run`s PiFast score: 21sec 470ms with a FX-9590 Noted this and the results of it just doesn't add up compared to all other results in the same category, this entry to me looks suspicious and needs to be reviewed.

Good morning hope this will be the right place I recently buyed an HD6950 to partecipate at the Team Cup and, looking around about benchmark results, I notified that several benckmark are made with a "supposed" HD6950 with 1536 shaders (HD6970 bios, effective HD6950 has 1408 shaders). Is it acceptable? Is it valid? Thank You for Your attention and sorry for my poor english

So I was looking in the rookie league OC esports and saw a submission that didn't seem right... http://hwbot.org/submission/3211977_maxking_xtu_core_i7_6700k_1541_marks The temp says 29c, on water (apparently)- at 1.7v. That's good SS/weak pot (dice) territory (or better) talking to some other members who use Skylake. So I checked some other submissions because maybe, temp bugged. But there are quite a few that don't seem like AIO/custom loop scores at all... http://hwbot.org/submission/3199747_maxking_hwbot_prime_core_i7_4790k_6670.23_pps http://hwbot.org/submission/3199750_maxking_superpi___1m_core_i7_4790k_6sec_503ms http://hwbot.org/submission/321204…

This might be worth looking into to see if theres something out of ordinary in the submission. You can just about see cheat engine on his desktop, not sure if cheat engine can affect 3dm11 scores though. http://hwbot.org/submission/3092006_sandalo_3dmark11___performance_geforce_gtx_980_ti_28083_marks http://i.imgur.com/8Xrzc8p.png
