This has been verry frustrating I'm using an Asus A7V880 mobo and I am having difficulty getting the sound up and running. I checked the bios and AC97 sound as well as instant on sound are both enabled. Windows says everything is on and working. I thought maybe there was a conflict since I had not done all the windows updates but even after making certain the os was up to date with all updates available it still has no sound. I also have a ati hd2600 which loaded some file for hd audio that I thought may be in conflict so I tried the sound with and without it enabled. I admit I'm not a professional but this is the first time I have been this stumped with a basic pc function.

Ticket ID: 908 Priority: Medium I set up my oldest son with the first pc I built, recently I was installing a wifi adapter and I had to go into the system bios to disable the yukon lan\r\nbefore the wifi card would take over and connect without a failed connection msg. While I was in the bios I noticed it shows it as just 1.1 ghz but when I built it it detected origionally @ 2.297 and read athlon xp 3200+ \r\nMy question is how do I reset the processor clock speed without redoing the computer all over again.\r\nOr is the processor on its last leggs and eventually it will detect the processor @ even slower speeds?
